The Dan Patrick Show
Dan Patrick is one of America's legendary sports journalists and revered members of the national media industry. His weekday radio program will soon be heard on over 200 affiliate stations around the country, is streamed at danpatrick.com and available on Sirius XM satellite radio.
During the fall, Dan appears on NBC's Sunday night Football in America and in February of 2010 will be part of the NBC Sports Winter Olympics broadcast team from Vancouver. Additionally, Patrick writes a weekly column for Sports Illustrated magazine, offers an engaging online experience at SI.com and danpatrick.com, has contributed to both HBO Sports and the WGN TV Superstation and has created his very own digital fan loyalty program called Dan Nation.
And starting in the summer of 2009 (date TBD), the Dan Patrick Radio Show will simulcast live on DIRECTV's The 101 Network. DIRECTV is a world leading provider of digital television entertainment services and has over 17.6 million subscribers in the United States.
Dan Nation is an affinity program that rewards listener loyalty while "Text your comments to DPSHOW" is a mobile offering designed to create relevant and extended interaction with listeners.
During his 18 years at ESPN, Patrick was most notably recognized for his many years as host of SportsCenter for which he received the coveted CableAce award. Additionally, Dan regularly filed reports and anchored the network's coverage at the NFL's Super Bowl, MLB's World Series, the NBA Finals and the NCAA Men's Final Four.
In May of 2000, Dan published a book entitled "Outtakes" which was based on his no-holds-barred question and answer interviews in ESPN The Magazine.
Patrick transcended the sports world when he guest hosted ABC's Good Morning America in 1996 and 1997.
