LOS ANGELES, August 31, 2009 - FOX Sports Radio has teamed up with KTTV FOX 11 in Los Angeles to give hundreds of foster children a Dodgers experience. Hosted by FOX Sports Radio's Vic "The Brick" Jacobs and FOX 11 News Anchor Christine Devine, the special event will treat 570 children to free tickets to the Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks game tomorrow, September 1, as well as transportation to the game, food and drinks, and more. The children will be selected by The Freddie Mac Foundation, which has helped place children with adoptive homes since 1989, and also sponsors The Freddie Mac Foundation's Wednesday's Child feature on FOX 11.

Airing Wednesday and Sunday nights on FOX 11's 10 O'clock News, Wednesday's Child is hosted by Devine, who profiles children looking for loving families to call their own. She gives viewers a glimpse of each child's interests and dreams at some of their favorite places. In addition to support from The Freddie Mac Foundation, FOX 11 works closely with Los Angeles' Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) in coordinating the Wednesday's Child stories.
