LOS ANGELES, June 3, 2009 - Chris Myers & Steve Hartman, Petros & Money, JT "The Brick" and Steve Czaban will unite U.S. Troops serving overseas with their families for Father's Day. At least once a day from June 8 -18, one of the aforementioned programs will connect a soldier with a family member on-air to share their Father's Day wishes before a world-wide audience. The opportunity will be expanded on June 19, the Friday before Father's Day, when every show will participate. In addition, www.FOXSportsRadio.com will also feature a special bulletin board where anyone can post a Father’s Day message.
"We're honored to help make Father's Day special for our U.S. troops stationed around the world," commented FOX Sports Radio Vice President/General Manager, Don Martin. "It's truly a privilege to unite these brave men and women with their families back home. I'd like to thank our partners at the U.S. Military for joining us in this effort."
This special Father's Day programming is an expansion of JT "The Brick's" weekly "Military Night." Airing every Thursday for the past three years, JT features calls from troops serving around the world to get their thoughts and opinions on sports and more.
