Tuesday, April 28th 2009 FOX Sports Radio Welcomed Top Picks During Ninth Annual NFL Draft Weekend
LOS ANGELES, April 28 2009 - On April 25 and 26, FOX Sports Radio featured its ninth annual NFL Draft Weekend. The network provided live coverage from NFL Draft headquarters at New York City's Radio City Music Hall, live reports from team draft headquarters around the NFL, and interviews with players, coaches, draftees, agents and other NFL insiders.
Highlights included Jay Glazer - NFL Insider for FOX Sports Radio, FOX NFL SUNDAY and FOXSports.com who led the network’s coverage from Radio City Music Hall - breaking the news that the Jets traded up in order to get USC Quarterback Mark Sanchez. Interviews with many of the draftees, including 9 of the top 10 draft picks, as well as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and NFLPA President DeMaurice Smith, were also featured.
