"The Jesus Christ Show" Adds WIOD-AM and KXL-AM

Contact: Rachel Nelson

LOS ANGELES, September 10, 2008 - Premiere Radio Networks announced today The Jesus Christ Show has been added to the lineups at Miami's WIOD NewsRadio 610 and Portland's NewsRadio 750 KXL. Broadcasting live on Sundays from 6 - 9 a.m. PT, The Jesus Christ Show will debut on KXL-AM on September 28, while the program recently debuted on WIOD-AM.

Ken Charles, WIOD-AM program director stated, "In today's world, a show about morals, ethics and values is the perfect vehicle to make people stop and think. No show can change a person, but if you can make them think, youve really accomplished a lot. This show accomplishes that."

James Derby, KXL-AM program director stated, "We're excited to bring The Jesus Christ Show to the Portland airwaves. KXL is home to some of the best Talk radio programs and The Jesus Christ Show is the perfect jump-start to our Sunday lineup."

Premiere Radio Networks launched The Jesus Christ Show into national syndication earlier this year. Today the program is heard on such affiliates as KFI-AM/Los Angeles, WFLA-AM/Tampa/St. Petersburg, KOGO-AM/San Diego, KXNT-AM/Las Vegas, WRNO-FM/New Orleans, KNST-AM/Tucson and others.

About The Jesus Christ Show
Created and produced by Neil Saavedra, The Jesus Christ Show is an "interactive radio theater" experience designed to engage and inspire listeners and callers to learn more about themselves and the historical person of Jesus Christ. Saavedra started his radio career in 1990 on a small radio station in Ventura, Calif., where he applied his talent to defend truth based on his varied studies of logic, theology, philosophy and religion. Having studied both Catholic and Protestant apologetics, he has a unique but traditional perspective on theology, which combined with critical thinking and tangible compassion, provides listeners with equal doses of both head and heart answers. Coming to KFI-AM 640 as an intern in 1994, Saavedra's reputation as the station's resident theologian eventually led to him producing The Jesus Christ Show. The program was launched into national syndication by Premiere Radio Networks in June of 2008.
