LOS ANGELES, June 19, 2008 - Movie goers will hear a familiar voice this weekend as American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest hits the big screen. AT40 is featured in the film Get Smart as actor Steve Carell's character, "Maxwell Smart," receives secret messages from the countdown program. Get Smart hits theaters tomorrow, June 20.
Carell recently guest hosted American Top 40 in Seacrest's absence.
American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest is syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks on nearly 500 stations worldwide. Each week, Seacrest counts down the Top 40 songs and interviews the biggest stars in entertainment. The show is executive produced by Claudine Cazian and engineered by Sal Cocio.
