LOS ANGELES, February 6, 2008 - Premiere Radio Networks announced today that Rosemary Young has been appointed senior producer of Country programming. Based in Nashville, Young will oversee the company's Country Today prep service as well as other syndicated Country programming including, specials, remotes and radio broadcast elements of the CMA Awards. She will report to Ira Robbins, vice president and editorial director of Premiere News and Prep.

A radio veteran, Young was formerly vice president/director of Country Programming at SFX Entertainment in Nashville. She served in the same capacity at SJS Entertainment for six years before the company was purchased by SFX. Her career in syndicated Country radio began at MJI Broadcasting in New York where she produced Country programming and was director of talent relations. Young is a graduate of Hunter College in New York.
