LOS ANGELES, September 21, 2006 - Premiere Radio Networks announced today that Country music artist Jack Ingram will host the 40th Annual CMA Awards Red Carpet Reports. On November 6, Ingram will speak with Country music's biggest stars and nominated artists as they make their way down the red carpet to the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, Tenn., for the CMA's, "Country Music’s Biggest Night." The Red Carpet Reports will air in afternoon drive on stations nationwide.
Ingram recently scored his first #1 single with Wherever You Are, from his Big Machine Records debut album, Live-Wherever You Are. Earlier this year, he was chosen by Grammy Award winner Sheryl Crow to be her opening act on tour. She also invited him to perform a duet of her smash hit, If It Makes You Happy, each night. Named one of the "Sexiest Southern Men" by CMT, this Texas native is currently on tour with Brooks & Dunn on their Long Haul Tour, which runs through November. His new single, Love You, is climbing the Country charts.
The 40th Annual CMA Awards will air live on Monday, November 6, at 7 p.m. CST from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, Tenn., and will air on ABC Television.
