M.D. Jennings and Golden Tate Give Both Sides of the Story on FOX Sports Radio's "FOX Sports Tonight"

Everyone is talking about the "play heard 'round the NFL," and FOX Sports Tonight's Amy Van Dyken and Rob Dibble spoke to Seattle Seahawk's Golden Tate and Green Bay Packer's M.D. Jennings about the controversy. At the end last night's now infamous game, Tate and Jennings both came down with the football, and replacement officials ruled that Tate caught the ball for the touchdown and win. Tonight, Dibble and Van Dyken got each player's side of the story, as well as their reactions to the game and the NFL's final decision. Below are highlights from the conversations:

M.D. Jennings

Van Dyken: "If you could rewind everything and go back and play that last play, would you try to catch the ball again, or would you just try to knock it down?"

Jennings: "It's hard to say because, you know, as athletes, we make decisions on the go. So you don't really have time to think. Over the years, even this weekend, I've seen so many balls... people try to bat them down and someone catches it off the tip. So, I feel like if I tried to bat it down and someone caught it for a touchdown, they'd be saying I should have caught the ball...Now that it was ruled a touchdown, they're saying I should have batted it down. So either way it goes, you know, people will have their opinion on the play."

Golden Tate

Dibble: "Has it been a very trying day for you after a very exhilarating finish to last night's football game?"

Tate: "It's been a lot of different emotions and emotional change. I've been happy and excited, to not knowing what's going on, to feeling I'm being attacked, to feeling I'm being praised.  I just don't know how to react, but you know, I'm just going to keep playing football the way I know how to, and things are going to work out."
