World-Renowned Golf Instructor Hank Haney Joins FOX Sports Radio's Weekend Line-Up
LOS ANGELES, August 27, 2012 -- FOX Sports Radio is pleased to announce the addition of world-renowned golf instructor and New York Times #1 best-selling author Hank Haney to its weekend lineup. Every Saturday, Haney will take listeners beyond the green to provide expert analysis on today's players and events, talk with celebrities, insiders and golf fans, and provide insight on how to become a better golfer. The Hank Haney Show will debut on Saturday, September 8 and air from 8 -- 10 a.m. ET/5 -- 7 a.m. PT. The show's title sponsor is SupremeGolf.com, a site that offers daily deals for everything golf, nutrition and fitness.
"I am thrilled to launch The Hank Haney Show and could not be more excited to have the FOX Sports Radio team behind me. I can't wait to start talking with golf fans across the country every Saturday!" said Haney.
"We're excited to give listeners the opportunity to interact with one of the best golf instructors in the world every weekend," said Don Martin, Senior Vice President, Sports Programming for Premiere Networks. "Hank's many years of experience and expertise in golf will provide our listeners with tremendous insight into the sport, and access to the best players on the course today."
Jonathan Wride, Managing Partner of Supreme Golf said, "We're delighted to announce Supreme Golf's sponsorship of The Hank Haney Show. This is an extension of the successful working relationship the company will have with Hank, who provides consumers free weekly golf tips on the Supreme Golf website."
Haney's radio team will include co-hosts Jeremy Okler, Steve Johnson and Angie Noder. "Jokler" as Haney calls Okler, has been in radio for nearly 10 years. He brings a little humor with the "weekend hacker" perspective to the show. Johnson has taught side by side with Haney and his most prominent students for 24 years and is Haney's "go-to" teacher. His students include professionals on the PGA, European PGA and LPGA tours. Johnson has worked on radio for years and this year stepped into television on The Haney Project. Noder is the newest member of Haney's team. She is in charge of The Hank Haney Foundation and an avid sports fan who manages to get all the inside info.
