FOX Sports Radio Brings Some Rock & Roll to Sports This Week

LOS ANGELES, May 31, 2012 -- This week, FOX Sports Radio brought some rock & roll to the network with an exciting Dodgers first pitch, concert contest and on-air appearance by Nikki Sixx - Motley Crue founder/bassist and host of the nationally syndicated radio program Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx. FOX Sports Radio and flagship station Dodger Radio AM 570 FOX Sports LA invited Sixx to throw the ceremonial first pitch for his home town Dodgers last Sunday. Prior the game, Sixx had a chance to hang in the dugout, meet some players, and even stopped to sign a few baseballs for fans. The pitch launched a week-long, national contest on FOX Sports Radio offering listeners the chance to win tickets and travel accommodations to a stop on "The Tour" featuring Motley Crue and KISS, as well as signed baseballs from both bands. Today, Sixx joined FSR's Loose Cannons to wrap up the week and talk about his upcoming tour, and preparing for and throwing the ceremonial first pitch.
