FOX Sports Radio To Air on Two New Salt Lake City Stations
LOS ANGELES, May 22, 2012 -- Following news that Larry H. Miller Communications Corporation, a sister-company of the Utah Jazz, has agreed to purchase several new radio stations (pending FCC approval), FOX Sports Radio announced today that two of the stations, KZNS-AM and FM, will begin airing FOX Sports Radio tomorrow. Both 1280 The Zone and FOX Sports Radio 97.5 will feature The Jim Rome Show, FOX Sports Tonight, JT The Brick and the complete FOX Sports Radio weekend lineup. The FOX Sports Radio 97.5 lineup will also include FOX Sports Daybreak, and Petros & Money.
Chris Baum, Senior Vice President of Broadcasting for the Utah Jazz and Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment, shared his excitement, stating "We are very pleased to continue our affiliation with FOX Sports Radio as we move to 1280 The Zone and FOX Sports Radio 97.5. The FSR shows complement our local lineup very well on our new 50,000-watt AM signal, and the additional coverage on our FM signal will allow us to better reach and serve sports fans, and Jazz fans in particular, all along the Wasatch Front."
