George Noory Narrates "Joplin, Missouri" Documentary

LOS ANGELES, May 21, 2012 -- Coast to Coast AM host George Noory has lent his voice to the feature documentary Joplin, Missouri.Thefilm narrated by Noory tells a story of distress, survival, recovery and hope shared by the people who survived the EF-5 tornado that devastated the southwest Missouri town of Joplin on May 22, 2011.
Noory stated: "After witnessing the horror of that Joplin tornado, friends from Missouri asked me if I'd participate in this documentary, and without hesitation, I said 'Yes!'"
On the anniversary of the storm tomorrow, the documentary will premiere at Ragtag Cinema in Columbia, Mo., with two screenings. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to Rebuildjoplin.org to help support long-term recovery efforts.
