The Bobby Bones Show Elevates Alayna Messer To Executive Producer
LOS ANGELES, April 19, 2012 -- The Bobby Bones Show announced today that Alayna Messer has been promoted to executive producer from network producer. Based in Austin, Texas, Messer will continue to produce the national morning show featuring hosts Bobby Bones, Lunchbox and Amy as they share their award-winning blend of exclusive artist interviews, pop-culture news and information, crazy stunts and hilarious banter. Messer will also continue to appear on-air periodically, deliver the traffic and weather reports for the program, and manage www.BobbyBones.com.
Bones stated, "Alayna has risen from being a hard working intern, to the engine that makes the show go. I'm proud to have her on my team, and excited to see where she will lead the show in the future."
Messer first joined The Bobby Bones Show as an intern while attending the University of Texas in 2005. The college student, who was studying psychology, fell in love with radio and decided to change her career path. Messer joined the show officially in 2006 as an assistant producer and quickly rose through the ranks to become network producer in 2008. During her tenure, The Bobby Bones Show has won Austin's Alliance of Women in Media's "Radio Personality of the Year" award seven years in a row. In addition, the show received national recognition in 2011 when Bones was named one of five finalists in LIVE! with Regis and Kelly's "Men of Radio Co-Host For A Day" search. That same year, The Bobby Bones Show joined Premiere Networks lineup of syndicated programs.
