NFL On FOX Lead Analyst And Three-Time Super Bowl Champion Troy Aikman Joins FOX Sports Radio As NFL Contributor
LOS ANGELES, September 12, 2011 -- FOX Sports Radio is pleased to announce the addition of Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman as an NFL contributor for this season. Aikman, who is the color analyst on the lead NFL on FOXbroadcasting team with Joe Buck, will offer his expert opinions and commentary live in the nation's top three markets:
New York on WFAN -- 5:00 p.m. ET hour on Friday with host Mike Francesa
Los Angeles on AM 570 FOX Sports L.A. -- 5:00 p.m. PT hour on Tuesday with Petros & Money (nationally syndicated by FSR on more than 245 stations)
Chicago on WSCR -- 8:00 a.m. CT hour on Monday with Mike Mulligan and Brian Hanley
Aikman spent his entire NFL Hall-of-Fame career with the Dallas Cowboys, where he played 12 consecutive seasons and was a six-time Pro Bowl selection. He led the Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories, and was MVP of Super Bowl XXVII. Aikman was the number one overall draft pick in 1989 after graduating from UCLA, where he won the 1988 Davey O'Brien Award for the nation's top quarterback and was also a Consensus All-American.
