J.T. The Brick Celebrates 10TH Anniversary On FOX Sports Radio
LOS ANGELES, June 17, 2011 -- FOX Sports Radio is pleased to announce that J.T. The Brick is celebrating his 10th anniversary on the network this month. J.T. hosts the network's overnight program, which airs Monday through Friday on more than 250 stations nationwide from 1:00 a.m. ET/10:00 p.m. PT to 6:00 a.m. ET/3:00 a.m. PT.
J.T. stated, "Thanks to Don Martin, Annie Zidarevich, co-host Tomm Looney and the amazing staff at FOX Sports Radio and Premiere Networks. It's their support and the loyalty of our listeners across the country that makes this milestone possible."
"J.T. is a valued member of the FOX Sports Radio family, and we are proud to mark this special anniversary with him," stated Don Martin, Vice President/General Manager, FOX Sports Radio Network.
A former stock broker, J.T. became a sports talk host after winning Jim Rome's inaugural "Smack-Off" championship title in 1995. He hosted the overnight show on the Sports Fan Radio Network for six years. J.T. has also worked for the Oakland Raiders since 1998 on television and radio, and currently hosts the weekly TV show "The Raiders Report" on Comcast Sports Net. In addition, he has appeared as a guest expert on many network television shows and is a regular sports columnist for MSNBC.com.
J.T. joined FOX Sports Radio as the afternoon host in June 2001, and in 2009, he moved to his current overnight timeslot. Each night, he delivers the latest sports news and information as he catches fans up on the day's biggest events. His program is one of sports radio's most interactive shows as he fields calls every night from listeners across the country. Joined by co-host Tomm Looney, the duo's outspoken, fast-paced dialogue is second to none as they bring a new attitude to nighttime sports talk radio.
