LOS ANGELES, January 27, 2006 - Legendary NFL Running Back Jim Brown joined Fox GameTime ReAct with JT “The Brick” last night and shared his thoughts on Kobe Bryant and his recent 81-point game. Below are some highlights from the interview:
On Kobe Bryant’s Style of Play:
"When you deal with his philosophy, JT, it is all about himself because you can't take that many shots and develop a true championship team…you don't have a team when a guy is able to score 81 points, but you cannot deny his individual talent. God has given him a gift, it is a tremendous gift and there is no doubt about it."
On being snubbed by Kobe Bryant:
"Kobe Bryant is probably the only athlete that I would not go into the locker room again and shake his hand. Because I was in the locker room, once, with some of my guys from the community and he almost snubbed us. Shaq was beautiful, everybody was beautiful, so I decided I wanted to get out of the locker room."
Fox GameTime ReAct with JT "The Brick" is nationally syndicated by the Fox Sports Radio Network and can be heard Monday through Friday from 10 p.m. - 2 a.m. ET/ 7 - 11 p.m. PT.
